Blizzard Entertainment has released a statement regarding issues with the Diablo IV beta. The developers are working on fixes, but the long queues on the servers will persist until they are implemented.
Yesterday marked the release of the Diablo IV beta. For now, only people who have pre-ordered the game can participate, but there are still major difficulties in accessing the servers. Blizzard Entertainment has finally settled on the issue.
- The developers have reported that they are aware of the issues that lead to long queues and the game disconnecting from servers.
- The developers are working on the fixes and until they are implemented the number of players who can join the game will be limited.which unfortunately means that at the moment we have to endure long waits.
- The developers explain that this is necessary so that those who eventually enter the game can expect smooth gameplay without worrying about losing connection (although “crashes” still occur, which can even result in the deletion of the character).
- Additionally, Blizzard warns that the queue counter isn’t working quite as it should., so he advises players to wait until he does. These issues should also be resolved soon.
- Queuing isn’t the only area developers are working on. Game optimization improvements are also implemented.with particular attention to high GPU and RAM load, or merging players into groups.
Recall that early access to the beta for those who have pre-orders will last until March 20. At the same time from March 24 to 26 all those interested can participate in the tests.
Diablo IV is heading to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The launch will take place on June 6. 2023.
