Strap on your flip flops and a tank top as EA and Respawn celebrate summer early in apex legends, with collection event Solar Squad which will take place from March 28 to April 11. The upcoming event includes the new “Heat Wave” game mode, limited-time cosmetics, and more.

- New “Heat Wave” game mode: Players will need additional sunscreen in the limited “Heat Wave” game mode, a battle royale variant in which periodic heat waves will damage players outdoors. Take cover or stay under protective shields if you want to survive. At worst, try slipping or wearing sunglasses to reduce harmful rays.
- Hawaiian shirts, snorkel gear and more: 24 limited-time cosmetic items for Ash, Mirage, Fuse and more.
- Unlockable for Ash: Players can obtain additional items by registering event rewards. Additionally, if you unlock all 24 cosmetics before April 11, you will automatically receive the Solid Ash Relic.
