Big damage, but a fairly low rate
If we had to describe Rampage to you compared to other LMGs in Apex Legends, that would be pretty straightforward. You will have a weapon that shoots slower than others in its class, but which does great damage, thus rewarding those who manage to hit their opponents as much as possible.
Indeed, a bullet to the feet inflicts 24 damage, one to the body 28 damage and one to the head, 42. These are numbers that are pretty huge when you compare them to other LMGs, and that’s what makes this Rampage have a lot of potential!
A new mechanic
While rate of fire is Rampage’s biggest weakness, it’s possible to partially compensate for it with a new mechanic. Indeed, by combining a Rampage with a Thermite Grenade, you will temporarily increase your rate of fire.
Once the thermite grenade is equipped, you will be able to enjoy a better rate of fire for 90 seconds maximum. Be careful, each time a ball is fired, this time decreases by two seconds. It will therefore be necessary to calculate when you will need a little boost.
