Nintendo is preparing a new update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As the publisher announces on its website, the patch will be available for download on Nintendo Switch from April 28th.
“The wheel of the seasons is turning in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch too, and there’s going to be a lot going on on your island that you can look forward to in the months to come. The next free update on April 28th will bring a breath of fresh air to some seasonal events,” writes Nintendo.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons hosts the May Celebration from April 29th to May 7th. As in the previous year, you can pick up a ticket from Bodo at the airport with which you can visit a unique island. Nintendo is promising a “completely new island” for this year’s event. The cat Olli should again be waiting for you with a maze.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be celebrating between May 18th and 31st (buy now € 45.99) the International Museum Day. Visit the museum to take part in a forage hunt. This time stamps are also waiting for you in the art gallery.
From June 1st to 30th, however, the wedding season will take place in the life simulation on Nintendo Switch. Visit Harvey’s Island to meet Rosina and Björn. They hope for your help to snap a nice wedding photo. One or the other reward should also be in this year.
Pay a visit to Nook Shopping and Tailoring for wedding-themed furniture and fashion items. In addition, Nintendo has announced new seasonal items for Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the coming months:
“Items to celebrate Japanese Children’s Day Kodomo no Hi (April 28th to May 5th), the annual British Cheese Rolls (May 22nd to May 31st). May), Father’s Day (June 1st to June 30th) and many more are waiting for you.”
In addition to the free update content, Carlson will be stopping by for the monthly insecticus tournament on the fairground in front of the service center.
Have your net ready on June 26th, July 24th, August 28th and September 25th to collect points which you can then exchange for special items at Carlson. On July 10th you will discover Lomeus on your fairground, which invites you to a fishing tournament.
