Currently the trend is increasingly clear, the hyperrealistic images created by Artificial intelligence they’re becoming more mainstream, so it seems like the sky is the limit for any creator looking to create their own movie, game, or other content from scratch.
And we have to admit that Unreal Engine 5has been a very useful free linear content creation tool for artists, so much so that it has even become one of the most popular tools in this new landscape.
A tool with which games like The matrix awakens, Tekken 8 and the Witcher remake are in the works. But UE is also great at creating great movies, as shown by a 3D artist in a movie that’s nearly indistinguishable from the real thing.
The film in question is a two-minute video of Youtube where the artist 3Dystopia, and the creator commented, “Upload the real world to Unreal Engine 5 to create a great little metaverse. A short video but a long process based on 1500 photographs to recreate the alley. Complete photogrammetry from 6k videos. I think that’s what the metaverse should look like in a few years if a company decides to invest in this challenge.”
At 14 seconds, we can see the logo of Unreal engine in the top right corner of the screen, but that’s the only indication that the location now appears instead of being saved, that and some weird objects appearing and disappearing on the ledges.
“Brother this is really crazy. If it hadn’t been for the movement I couldn’t have told the difference,” one commenter replied, while another added: “It’s too much true, dammit.”
With the Unreal Engine recreating real-world locations in such incredible detail, apps for movies and games are amazing, especially with advances in VR technology.
