Although you’re the main character in Hogwarts Legacy, that doesn’t mean you’re the only person patrolling the halls of the School of Witches and Wizardry. While there are some people you won’t interact with, some will show up and stand by your side on certain missions. Here are all the companions in Hogwarts Legacy and how to make them your friends.

Natsai Onai, or Natty for short, is an adventure-loving Gryffindor student. She is a transfer student from the Ugandan school of Uagadou and her mother is a divination teacher. You’ll first meet her when you enter Charms, where she’ll offer you a spot next to her. You’ll then play a mini-game against her while learning how to use Accio.
Natty is a talented witch, able to cast spells without a wand because that’s how most people in Uagadou do it. You can choose her as a partner in Crossed Wands duels early on.

Poppy Sweeting is a Hufflepuff who loves magical beasts. She grew up with poaching parents, but is no longer related to them, living with her grandmother outside of Hogwarts. You will meet her in the Beasts class where she will teach you various things about the creatures.

Sebastian Sallow is a Slytherin student with a knack for dueling. Your first encounter with him will be in Defense Against the Dark Arts, where you’ll get your first taste of the one-on-one duel. After defeating him, you earn his respect and he helps you infiltrate the restricted section of the library.
Sebastian is a bit of a troublemaker, but he really has talent. His motivations also have a good cause, since everything is linked to his sister’s illness. It’s also your source for learning the Unforgivable Curses in the game.
We’ve also heard of a possible Ravenclaw companion named Amit, but we haven’t encountered him in our game yet. We’ll update this article when we know more.
