Today, well-known industry insider Tom Henderson confirmed the truth of this information. In the published documents you can find a timetable, containing the dates of the different seasons and the content planned for the new opus of call of duty 2023 (code name Jupiter).

Previous rumors hinted at the possibility of the next installment releasing this year, contrary to previous reports that Activision would stop dropping 2023 and not release a major new title, instead focusing on the development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. II and Warzone 2.0.

From the leaked data, we can learn how the individual season schedule of the next release will be set. Content-wise, things to note include:

  • 7 “main cards”;
  • Halloween event called “Haunting of Saba”;
  • a “licensed” operator each season.

In addition to information on Call of Duty 2023, the data obtained by vxunderground included details on the Modern Warfare 2 expansion, as well as the unveiling of the episode scheduled for 2024 (codename Cerberus).

According to Henderson, the source of the leak was the PC of one of the HR employees. Most likely, the attack was limited to this device and the player’s data was not compromised.
