On its site, Activision Blizzard takes stock of a charity campaign launched for the holiday season.

In December, Activision and Blizzard launched the Holiday Giving initiative, giving each of their employees US $ 200 (or the local equivalent), to donate to the charity of their choice. As a result, over $ 1.6 million was committed to 3,211 charities from 8,013 employees.

We believe that we can truly connect and engage the world in a way that no other business can, with purpose and meaning. We continue to be grateful to all of you who share our commitment to change the world in a sustainable way.

We want to honor the past year by going the extra mile for this unique year where people are more in need than ever: we are contributing to corporate funds and reallocating funds that were intended for end of year events to the Holiday Giving initiative.

Prior to this donation campaign, we are reminded that Activision Blizzard, Kotick and Alegre donated several million dollars at the United Negro College Fund, the Equal Justice Initiative and the Management Leadership for Tomorrow in June 2020, during the protests against racial injustice in the United States.
