Publisher OverGamez, along with developer Red Spot Sylphina, today announced that Titanium Hound is coming to To change. You can pick it up tomorrow next month, specifically March 11, 2023.
Titanium Hound is a 2D cyberpunk action platformer in which players pilot a massive and agile exoskeleton. The goal is to defeat hordes of abominations and crazed security drones in hopes of uncovering a carefully crafted plot by global corporations.
Dark and not so distant future. Advances in science have led to the use of colonies of microbes as energy sources in all aspects of life. The corporations that control the development and production of these living batteries have become major political powers in the world. Crime, inequality and corruption under its influence have reached levels unimaginable before. In an attempt to control this chaos, governments have reorganized their police forces and reinforced them with top-notch military equipment.
Titanium Hound is a latest generation manned complex designed to solve very difficult situations in urban conditions.
The special energy flow system is the main and unique gameplay feature of Titanium Hound. By using your weapon you direct energy to your shield and by using your shield you direct energy to your weapon – this is the slow form of directing energy. But there’s also the fast lane, which is called Combo-Blast. You create it by pressing the main and secondary planes simultaneously. It looks like an energetic copy of yourself that explodes moments after it appears. If you stay in this explosion, the energy will instantly go to your shield. And if you stay out of this explosion, the energy will instantly go to your weapon. Additionally, the Combo-Blast is used as a means to stun mini-bosses and instantly destroy regular enemies.
