A special Nintendo Switch Pro controller in the style of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been unveiled.
Earlier today, on March 28, Nintendo unveiled a new teaser for Tears of the Kingdom gameplay, featuring around 10 minutes of new footage. However, at the end of the new footage, series producer Eiji Aonuma unveiled some new hardware surrounding the game, including the new Nintendo Switch Pro controller seen just below.

According to Nintendo’s website (opens in a new tab), this special controller will be released in May 2023. This means that the Pro controller could be released after the release of Tears of the Kingdom worldwide, which will be released on May 12. .
Additionally, the new Pro Controller will cost $74.99. That’s a bit more than the standard fee for a regular Pro controller, meaning Nintendo put a little extra on the controller for its Tears of the Kingdom redesign.

Nintendo’s biggest hardware reveal today, however, was the Switch OLED Tears of the Kingdom model, which will launch next month on April 28th.
