We’ve talked a few times this year about how Square Enix seems to be unsupporting Xbox with many new releases and now, thanks to a new report, we may have a bit more information to share about the situation. .
Windows Central editor Jez Corden wrote a related article today, explaining that he’s heard something is “fundamentally wrong” about the relationship between the two companies right now.
“More and more, I hear rumors that there is something wrong with the relationship between Microsoft and Square Enix.”
What’s even more interesting, though, is something he mentioned in a few follow-up tweets. According to Corden, it might actually be Xbox that’s at fault here, at least to some degree:

Obviously, we’d suggest taking anything classified as “rumor” with a pinch of salt for now, though Corden seems pretty confident in these follow-up tweets…hopefully we’ll get more concrete details by now. little.
