An apparent error in the store To smoke caused it to display an incorrect price when users searched atomic heart from Mundfish. Although the issue appears to have been resolved, Steam initially showed Atomic Heart selling for $20 less than its normal retail price.

Set in an alternate universe version of the Soviet Union, Atomic Heart puts players in the shoes of mentally unstable KGB commander Sergei Nechaev.

After a cybernetic device called Thought is launched and goes horribly wrong, Sergei must battle rogue robots, unleash biological creations and his own mind to survive and restore some semblance of sanity to Facility 3826.

As a first-person shooter inspired by BioShock and System Shock, many fans of those titles had high hopes for Mundfish’s new game. Unfortunately, Atomic Heart received mixed reviews, with Metacritic scores ranging from 70 to 70.

The release of Atomic Heart has not been smooth and the game seems to be experiencing various issues with some distribution platforms. Reddit user Spooner503 was looking for Atomic Heart on Steam when he noticed the search results showed the game for just $39.99. This is also the price displayed by Steam in the automated emails it sent to users about the game.

However, this price is incorrect, as Atomic Heart is actually selling for $59.99 on Steam, or its equivalent. The price displayed by Steam was actually that of the game’s Season Pass, which includes the Midas Gauntlet cosmetic skin and the four planned DLCs for Atomic Heart.
