a total of ten assassin’s creed the games are in the works at Ubisoft, according to a new report. Many of the games in question have already entered development and have been confirmed by Ubisoft itself.

All Assassin’s Creed projects confirmed and believed to be in development

We already know that Ubisoft has at least five Assassin’s Creed games in development: the upcoming Mirage, a project named Red, codenamed Hexe, codenamed Jade, and the multiplayer game named Project Invictus. According to insider Tom Henderson, a VR game code called Project Nexus will be revealed at E3 2023, but Ubisoft is already discussing a Nexus sequel internally. It’s been seven games. But that’s not all!

In a new Insider Gaming post, Henderson claims to have heard from his sources that at least three other Assassin’s Creed games are also in development. This brings the total to ten.

According to the report, all three games are complete departures from Assassin’s Creed, named Nebula, Raid, and Echoes. Each of the games will be developed by a different team at Ubisoft. A summary of the leak is as follows:

  • Ubisoft Sofia launched Nebula with three settings: India, the Aztec Empire and the Mediterranean
  • Ubisoft Chengdu has released Raid, a free-to-play, four-player, player-versus-environment cooperative game. Characters will be expected to be from the AC universe
  • Ubisoft Annecy releases Echoes, another multiplayer game

Henderson’s sources further indicate that Ubisoft plans to return to Assassin’s Creed’s annual release schedule.
