The attacker was reportedly taken backstage by security, where Chappelle and his team “stomped on” and manhandled him. The news comes after the infamous incident in which comedian Chris Rock was slapped onstage by Will Smith at the Oscars, with Rock, who was also at the comedy festival last night, joking: Was that Will Smith?
