The Jonas Brothers received their namesake star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday and announced that their sixth studio album will be released on May 5.

“We’re honored to be here, (The star) is a testament to all the love and support from our fans, our friends and our family, who have been with us every step of the way,” said Kevin Jonas minutes before unveiling his plaque.

OneRepublic vocalist Ryan Tedder and singer Jon Bellion accompanied Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas in a ceremony in which both highlighted the brothers’ talent and kindness to their fans.
Also present were their wives: businesswoman Danielle Jonas and actresses Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner, who shone in the thank you speeches of the three members of the pop group with 18 years of career.

“Danielle, my beautiful wife, I love you so much,” said Kevin Jonas, who dedicated his recognition to his daughters, Alena and Valentina, saying they were “his biggest stars.”

Joe Jonas, who called his time in the industry “a wild ride,” thanked Turner for being his “biggest inspiration,” his parents for being his “unconditional cheerleaders” and his siblings for allowing him to continue pursuing his greatest passion, music.

Nick Jonas did the same and throughout the ceremony did not stop receiving support from Chopra, who attended with her baby in her arms.

“You are calm and crazy, I love being a father by your side,” the singer told him.

In the last minutes that the singers remained on stage, Nick Jonas revealed that they will release their next album on May 5 and that they will begin a tour later this year, unleashing the excitement of the fans in attendance.

The Jonas Brothers began their career in 2005 with the album “It’s About Time”, a work that had little impact.
Two years later they presented the album “Jonas Brothers,” which produced hits such as “Year 3000” and “S.O.S.”, which catapulted them to international fame.

In 2008 they became Disney stars after participating in the TV movie “Camp Rock” and after several albums and concerts around the world they announced their separation in 2013.
In 2019, the brothers returned to the music scene with the song “Sucker” from the album “Happiness Begins” and the last single they have participated in was “Leave Before You Love Me”, together with Marshmello in 2021.
