New film and series highlights in October 2021
The Guilty: The latest thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal takes place in a single morning in an emergency call center. A mysterious call arrives at the police officer Joe Bayler and he tries to save an unknown woman in mortal danger – over the phone.
The film is a remake of the Danish original from 2018, which received very good reviews worldwide. On Rotten Tomatoes, for example, the rating is currently 97 percent.
You will love me: Season 3: The third season of You is also dramatic. Stalker Joe (Penn Badgley) tries to build a middle-class life with his new partner Love (Victoria Pedretti) when his feelings for the new neighbor make him out of control again.
As he struggles to be a good father to his newborn child and to keep his and Love’s dark past a secret, Joe falls into a new obsession. But Joe is also in danger – because Love is not ready to give him up without a fight.
