Moon Knight: The Disney+ series breaks two records even before its release

Disney, the big-eared American giant, keeps breaking records. After Spider-Man: No Way Home, which ranked sixth among the greatest hits of all time, it’s the turn of the Moon Knight series to smash the scores.

Moon Knight, the big winner of the Super Bowl!

With Disney and Marvel, we keep going from surprise to surprise! Moon Knight, the anti-hero with a dark and tortured past, made a sensational entrance on February 18.

Indeed, although unknown to the general public, the character draped in black and white seduced everyone; the first trailer of the series with his effigy presented in preview during the Super Bowl is simply a huge success.

The two-minute trailer that dwells on the psychotic disorders of the anti-hero has racked up more than 25 million views in less than a week and received more than a million likes on Marvel’s official YouTube channel Studio, which is a record for a Marvel series.

As a reminder, if we refer to The Direct, the second place of the most liked Marvel series on YouTube goes to Hawkeye with 915,000 likes, which is surprising, since the series is far from having won unanimous support from the crowds.

In third position, we unsurprisingly find WandaVision with its 760,000 likes. Then in fourth and fifth place is positioned Loki with 723,000 for its second trailer and 695,000 likes for its first trailer.

A release date for Moon Knight?

Good news: the series Moon Knight won’t take long to arrive on Disney+, the home video-on-demand service with big ears, since the first episode will air on March 30 next.

It will stage this anti-hero for the first time in a live cinematic universe, since the character created in 1975 has, for the moment, only cut his teeth on animated series.

We think in particular of Avengers Assemble or even to Ultimate Spider-Man from 2012 and Marvel’s Spider-Man of 2017. In Moon Knight, the main role will be played on screen by Oscar Isaac (Ex Machina, Dune).
