The Lollapalooza program has a new artist. J-Hope, member of the famous k-pop group BTS will perform on the stage of the American festival organized this year at Grant Park in Chicago.

Announced at the end of the musical event, on Sunday July 31, J-Hope thus becomes the first South Korean artist in history to be scheduled as the headliner of a major American music festival.

“All musical genres live in harmony”
Lollapalooza, which takes place this year from July 28 to 31, announced that the k-pop group Tomorrow x Together will also be present on Saturday July 30, for their very first performance at the festival.

“Lollapalooza is where all genres of music live in harmony. They are the superstars of the global K-Pop phenomenon, and we are very happy to have them at this year’s festival,” said festival founder Perry. Farrell, in a press release obtained by the American media Deadline.

J-Hope and Tomorrow x Together replace Doja Cat, who canceled her visit. The singer has also postponed many of her concerts this summer due to throat health problems.
