Soon, Netflix will offer an option so that you can subscribe to its service paying only $6.99 dollars. Although the price is better, the plan has certain disadvantages

It seems that all products and services are going up in price, but the good news is that the Netflix streaming service will have a much cheaper subscription option. It will only cost you $6.99 per month.

We tell you from when and how you can subscribe to this service.

From next November 3 at 9:00 in the morning, Netflix will have available on its platform the subscription plan called Basic with Ads, which, as its name in English indicates, is a basic package that transmits the content, but with advertising.

So all you have to do is enter the platform on the date mentioned and subscribe or switch to the Basic with Ads package. In this way, they will start charging you only $6.99 dollars.

The United States is one of only 12 countries where the plan will be offered, so far.

For the most part, the plan is the same as Netflix Basic, which costs $9.99 per month. However, there are some key differences:

–The plan will have an average of four to five minutes of ads per hour.
–Will not offer access to a certain number of movies and TV shows that are not available due to licensing restrictions to stream on this plan. Netflix says it’s working to make these shows available at some point.
–It will not offer the possibility of downloading movies or series.

Additionally, starting in November, both the Netflix Basic and Netflix Basic with Ads packages will offer up to 720p/HD video quality.

Netflix says that each ad running on the Netflix Basic with Ads plan will run for 15 to 30 seconds and will play before or during a movie or show.

Netflix’s new, cheaper plan is likely to encourage consumers to stick with Netflix, as it comes at a time of price hikes across industries. In addition, the costs of streaming services have already been increasing prices for a long time, even before the crisis.
