Yesterday, the sixth episode of The Last of Us series aired and there are only 3 left for the end of the season, so in three weeks we will say goodbye to this excellent adaptation. HBO has already released a trailer for its next episode and with it it is confirmed that episode 7 of The Last of Us adapted from the DLC Left Behind.
It has long been confirmed that the first season of The last of us will adapt the entire first game and its DLCs, Left over, which tells us the story of Ellie before meeting Joel. Today we can confirm that Episode 7 will tell the story of Ellie and Riley Abel, an orphan who becomes best friends with Ellie before the events of The Last of Us.
Episode 7 of The Last of Us airs next Sunday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. CDMX, and will continue to do so for the rest of the season. So far, The Last of Us series has been growing in viewership week by week, so it will be interesting to see if that continues through the end of the first season.
The Last of Us series has already been renewed for a second season by HBO, so hopefully The Last of Us Part II will also be adapted in full. We still don’t have a first window for the second season, but it’s been confirmed that Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin will return as showrunners for the series.
A few weeks ago, Pedro Pascal appeared on Saturday Night Live and starred in a sketch that imagines a trailer for a Mario Kart movie in the style of The Last of Us, with a very funny result that presents us with a new version of Super Mario interpreted by Pascal.
The Last of Us series has caused a resurgence in gamers on PlayStation, although sadly Naughty Dog had to delay the port of The Last of Us Part I to PC until March 28. This remake of the first game will arrive on both Steam and the Epic Games Store a few weeks after the end of the first season.
