The former beauty queen becomes the brand’s image for Central America and the Andean region sending a message about the beauty of inner strength.
Powerful businesswomen and influencers in the beauty world such as Kendall Jenner, Paz Vega and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few, have been selected as ambassadors for L’Oreal Paris and now it is Daniela Alvarez who fulfills this dream.
It was through an emotional video that the former Colombian beauty queen announced that as of this Wednesday the brand chose her as its representative in Central America and the Andean region.
“Thanks to L’Oreal for valuing the true beauty of women, that beauty of millions of women who far from being perfect, we have such a great self-love that we feel perfect just the way we are. Thank you @lorealparis for believing that in the joyful heart of a woman, is the reflection of her beauty,” said the Colombian in the clip.
The also entrepreneur took the opportunity to share images of some of her most vulnerable personal moments and resilience after having one of her legs amputated in 2020.
She explained that this test of physical and spiritual strength, allowed her to find her weaknesses and insecurities. Thanks to this he was able to find hope and overcome suffering; from everything he knew the meaning of being brave.
She said that from this internal struggle of overcoming fears and uncertainties, is when new opportunities began to come into her life and she was able to rediscover herself. She assures that this whole situation helped her to be resilient and understand her purpose in life.
