No less than seven new names are added this week to the prestigious cast of the film Borderlands directed by Eli Roth.

Lionsgate and director Eli Roth continue to dabble in the cast of the Borderlands film adaptation. Seven new faces are added to the list this week: Gina Gershon (Volte/Face, P.S. I Love You) will play Moxxi, Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story) will take on the role of Jakobs, and Charles Babalola (Gretel And Hansel) that of Hammerlock. Benjamin Byron Davis (The Belko Experiment) also joins the group to play Marcus, while Bobby Lee (Extracurricular Activities, Wish Dragon) will play the role of Larry. Finally, Steven Boyer (Trial & Error, The Bridge of Spies) will be Scooter and Ryann Redmond will be Ellie.

The great team joins the actors Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, Jamie Lee Curtis, Edgar Ramirez, Florian Munteanu, Haley Bennett, and Olivier Richters.

Side synopsis, we know that Lilith (Cate Blanchett), protagonist of the first Borderlands, will have to start looking for the missing daughter of Atlas. This would be “the key to immeasurable powers“. The heroine will then form a team of mercenaries bringing together Roland (Kevin Hart), Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), Krieg (Florian Munteanu), Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Claptrap (Jack Black). It will be Edgar Ramirez (The Undoing, Zero Dark Thirsty) who will play Atlas, a character never appeared in video games, but considered here as “the biggest PDF in the universe”. As a reminder, the film does not yet have a release date.
