In two hours, Real Madrid has run out of games this week. After two in the afternoon, the whites knew of the postponement of their Euroleague duel with the Red Star, scheduled for this Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. The reason, that the plane in which the Serbian team had to travel has not taken off from Belgrade because it did not have permission to land at the Barajas airport due to the effects of the Filomena storm. And at half past four, the ACB officially announced the postponement of its match on day 20 that was to take place this Sunday on the Monbus Obradoiro field, due to the coronavirus outbreak that affects the Galician team.
The statement read the following: “The meeting between Monbus Obradoiro and Real Madrid, corresponding to Day 20 of the Endesa League and scheduled for this coming Sunday, January 17 (5:00 p.m.), has been postponed due to health issues derived from the outbreak of COVID-19 that continues to affect the home team. The ACB will soon communicate the new date for the dispute of the meeting ”.
Circumstances have meant that the whites have run out of the two games scheduled for the remainder of the week. Now you must wait for a new date to dispute both. The Red Star must also travel to Spain this week to face Valencia on Friday, but it does not seem possible that their duel against Madrid can be played this weekend.
