Former Bolivian President Evo Morales was released from the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 last week, Morales said Sunday.

Morales tested positive for COVID-19 last Wednesday after receiving a routine checkup, his press official said.
Bolivia has 201,037 confirmed cases of covid-19 and a total of 9,985 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
