When asked if Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock would ever meet again on screen, Reeves said, “I hope so. She is a wonderful artist and person. And, you know, I think we have good chemistry. And it would be really exciting and interesting to have the opportunity to perform with her again”.
Bullock also shared a personal anecdote about Reeves after Speed came out as evidence of the Matrix star’s undeniable charisma. The couple were hanging out and talking when the topic of champagne and truffles came up and the actress confessed that she never had.
A few days later, Bullock was hanging out with a friend at her new home when Reeves appeared outside with flowers, champagne, and truffles and said, “I thought you might want to try champagne and truffles to see what it’s like”.
Then everyone opened the champagne and truffles, Reeves sat on the couch, spread his hands, without saying a word, and Bullock painted his fingernails black, just like her.
