Urban singer Ozuna became the first Latino to join a video game company.
Juan Carlos Ozuna, real name of the reggaeton artist, confirmed that he became the first Latin artist to join Xset, a video game company that has great recognition in the world.
The artist will have the responsibility of promoting the reach of Xset video games, having sufficient powers as his new partner.
“The mix of music and games will only get bigger and, together with Xset, I am happy to lead the way,” Ozuna said through a statement.
In his social networks, he also announced the news to his more than 20 million followers on Instagram thanking the organization for the confidence in having chosen him for this position.
“Thank you for trusting me, not as an artist but as an entrepreneur,” he expressed in a photograph where he appears with his new work team.
In recent days, Ozuna combined his talent with the Cuban artist Ovidio Crespo, better known as Ovi, to launch a song that on its first day of release, broke record of views on YouTube.
The song called “El Envidioso” came out on April 1 and exceeded 7 million views on the video platform.
The theme that unites the Puerto Rican singer and the 24-year-old Cuban for the first time is having a great reception on digital platforms.
It should be noted that this collaboration of the artists comes just a few weeks after El Negrito de Ojos Claros made public his admiration for the young Cuban, highlighting his career in front of trap and lying corridos.
