Those rumors about Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly getting ready to go down the hall may no longer carry weight. The Transformers actor took to Instagram to address recent photos posted by DailyMail on January 29 that showed a large ring on Fox’s ring finger.
However, the couple’s Stans may have to wait a bit because of their Instagram. Megan Fox on Machine Gun Kelly’s engagement rumors is a total closure.
After viewing the Daily Mail photos, fans were shocked by Fox’s giant ring. To think MGK proposed was an understandable response given the new accessory, but Fox wanted to address the photos, which were supposedly taken on January 28 when The couple was heading to Kelly’s rehearsal on Saturday Night Live. ICYMI, Kelly will be performing alongside John Krasinski on the first SNL episode of 2021 on January 30. Well, after Fox found out about the rumors, he shut them down pretty quickly.
On her Instagram story on Friday, January 29, she shared a photo of the giant ring, which turned out to be something very different than what fans assumed. The photo shows Fox’s hand wearing a silver ring that reads “F * ck You” so it’s safe to say it’s probably not an engagement ring. Fox also accented the image with an irritated emoji, so he obviously wasn’t very amused when the rumors started.
Currently, Fox is still going through a divorce process with his ex Brian Austin Green, but he is still serious with Kelly.
Fox and MGK have been a close couple ever since they met on the set of the upcoming movie Midnight in the Switchgrass. Although he may not have commitment in his brain, he has expressed his feelings for her new boyfriend to the world, and they are serious. In August 2020, he captioned an IG photo of them along with, “Painfully beautiful boy … My heart is yours.”
The star also told Nylon in November 2020 that when he met Kelly it was love at first sight. “I looked into his eyes [and] felt the most pristine, gentlest, and purest spirit,” he said. “My heart immediately broke and I knew I was screwed.”
While the couple are not engaged ~ yet ~, a source close to the couple reportedly told Entertainment Tonight in December 2020 that “MGK totally sees marriage in their future to Megan and her friends could see them 100% engaged during the next year”. The source also told the publication that they “keep smiling” as well as “emotionally support each other.”
While Fox and Kelly aren’t ready to put a ring on her, it seems the couple is on their way to years of happiness. Only time will tell if they marry in the future, so those who send the pair will have to wait and see.
