Lady Gaga offered $500,000 as a reward to find the person responsible for shooting a man walking his two dogs on Wednesday night in Hollywood, California, according to NBC News.

The suspect stole the two French bulldogs, believed to belong to the artist.

The shooting happened on Wednesday, around 9:45 p.m., near Sierra Bonita Avenue and Sunset Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The victim was taken to a hospital, but details about his condition were not immediately available.

Our sister station NBCLA contacted the Los Angeles police, who could not confirm any ties the pets had to the singer-songwriter.

Police said the attackers took two dogs, which left the scene in a light-colored sedan, possibly a Nissan.

The video showed an officer at the scene holding a French bulldog on a blanket, but it was not immediately clear if the dog was one of the animals abducted by the robbers or possibly a third pet.

Authorities did not immediately release a detailed description of the attackers.
