Singer Jennifer López spoke about her celebrations in her On the JLo newsletter, where she remarked how they worked as a stepfamily

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck spent their first Christmas as husband and wife and began creating family memories together. The 53-year-old singer spoke about her celebrations in her On the JLo newsletter, where she remarked how they worked as a stepfamily.

“We have mixed families, twice the people, twice the fun, double the love, double the gifts and triple chaos,” the singer wrote in the letter that she sends her fans weekly. López shared that the clan has been celebrating together for a couple of years, but that this is the first time they have done it after getting married.

The star and Affleck’s family includes Lopez’s twins Max and Emme, 14, the fruit of her love affair with Marc Anthony, and Affleck’s children Samuel, 10, Seraphina, 13, and Violet, of 16, which he had with his ex, Jennifer Garner.

In addition to sharing with their children, the stars also included friends in their plans. “For the last 8 years we have been doing ‘Christmas Taco Tuesdays,’ where we get together any time of the year, dress up and sing Christmas carols. During the pandemic that ended, so this was the first time in a long time that we were able to meet with people we hadn’t seen in a long time,” shared Jennifer Lopez.

“The party was filled with family, friends, colleagues and people we have known for years. We sang and danced and had a wonderful time,” the star said.
