In this statement, the Bronx diva and the former baseball player explained that, although their engagement was canceled, they will continue to be “best friends.” In addition, they will continue to work together as they have various projects underway.

We have come to realize that we are best friends and we hope to remain so. We will continue to work together and support each other in our shared businesses and projects. They started on their message.

The news of their breakup comes weeks after Jennifer Lopez, 51, and Álex Rodríguez announced that they were “working on some things” to improve their relationship. Rumors about the end of their relationship began to spread in early March.

Remember that Jennifer López and Álex Rodríguez got engaged in the Bahamas in March 2019, after dating for two years. In 2020, the couple lived with their children and showed that family life was no problem. As a result of the pandemic, they had to postpone their wedding up to two times.
