The singer of the Puerto Rican urban genre Daddy Yankee fueled rumors about his early retirement from the stage by announcing on his social networks “one last” tour of the world in 2022.
Ramón Ayala Rodríguez, the artist’s first name, accompanied a video on his Instagram account of the following message: “This year 2022 I will give my last round in the world, in which country are you waiting for me?”
The nicknamed “Big Boss” also included in the publication the label “La Último Vuelta”, which may be the title of the tour.
The 11-minute video is a recap of the singer’s concerts at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in 2019, where he offered 12 performances before some 170,000 people.
”The road is hard, but the hard remains on the road. I dreamed of what I am living; now, I am the living dream,” said the artist at the beginning of the video.
The so-called King of Reguetón, author of global hits such as “Gasolina”, “Con Calma” and “Dura” and winner of multiple awards, will perform tomorrow in the farewell special of the year in Puerto Rico.
