Considered for many years to be one of the most sought-after bachelors in the entertainment industry, Chris Evans was out of the game almost two years ago when he started dating. Now, the actor has confirmed that he is married.
During an appearance at New York Comic Con on Saturday (15), the actor confirmed that he had exchanged rings with Alba Baptista, a Portuguese-Brazilian actress. He said that the couple had not one, but two ceremonies.
“I got married. It was very, very nice. We kind of had two ceremonies, one on the East Coast and one in Portugal – my wife’s country of origin. They were wonderful and beautiful. It’s a lot of work to plan a wedding: for those of you who are married, you know, it takes a lot out of you,” he said, according to People magazine.
Evans also said that, now that the planning is over, they are just enjoying married life and getting ready for the fall. “My favorite season. The best time of the year right now.”
