A source revealed to the British newspaper The Sun that the singing couple realized they are not right for each other and have decided to move on with their lives and careers.
Just a few days ago, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were caught in a date at one of the concerts that Taylor Swift offered at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey as part of her The Eras Tour.
Although the couple had not confirmed anything, it seems that they had given their relationship a second chance after they were caught kissing at the Coachella festival in April, however, as soon as they rekindled the flame, it seems that the fire was extinguished again.

At least, so says journalist Simon Boyle, whose sources confirmed to him that the artists have once again put an end to their relationship. According to the columnist of the British newspaper The Sun, the 24-year-old Canadian singer and the 25-year-old Cuban-Mexican artist have separated again, and this time for good.
“Shawn and Camila have a lot of history behind them and they tested the waters again to see if they should be back in each other’s lives,” a source close to the couple told the media outlet. “However, it ended up being just a fling and now they put an end to it,” the insider added.
“They have realized that, in all likelihood, it was a big mistake to give certain things another chance. After all, they were the same ones that already broke up with them the first time and rightly so, after all,” the source noted about the former couple.
The source further claimed that the singers realized that they are not right for each other. “Actually, they both know that, looking at it from a romantic point of view, they are not meant for each other and now they just want to move on with their lives and careers,” he finished.

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes met in 2014 during an Austin Mahone concert and, since then, they maintained a great friendship. At that time it was said that the singer noticed her from the first moment because of her fun personality, however, it was until July 2019 when, after recording together the song Señorita, that they made their romance official.
The couple announced their separation in November 2021. “Hi guys, we have decided to end our romantic relationship, but the love we have for each other as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will remain so. We really appreciate your support from the beginning and from now on,” reads the message with which they spread the news.
Cabello moved on with Lox Club founder Austin Kevitch, from whom she split earlier this year. Mendes, meanwhile, sparked dating speculation with fellow pop star Sabrina Carpenter and chiropractor Jocelyne Miranda.
The artists reunited last April during the Coachella Festival and, since then, had not let go of each other. The singers were even spotted in New York City, where they were photographed holding hands.
