On Thursday, September 23, the central ceremony of the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2021 took place at the Watsco Center of the University of Miami, United States. The gala brought together different artists from the entertainment industry to recognize the best of Latin music.
Paquita la del Barrio turned out to be one of the honorees of the gala and took the main stage to receive her award for the Billboard Artistic Career Award.
Upon receiving her award, the Mexican singer had trouble delivering her speech and was not heard properly because she could not reach the microphone.
Faced with this situation, the singer Bad Bunny decided to go on stage to help Paquita la del Barrio. The interpreter of “Go” held the microphone, so that his colleague could give his speech.
The veteran singer took that moment with humor and described her colleague as “useless”. Bad Bunny was a bit surprised by Paquita’s reaction, but finally the Mexican was able to give her message of gratitude for the recognition.
