The current Miss Universe 2021, Andrea Meza, received the first dose of Pfizer vaccine for coronavirus (COVID-19) in New York, United States.

The 26-year-old model received the vaccine as part of her obligations to the Miss Universe Organization, where she will have to travel to various countries doing social work.

Through the official Miss Universe account, a video of the Mexican from Chihuahua was published, going to CVS Pharmacy facilities to receive her first dose.

“Thank you @cvspharmacy for vaccinating Miss Universe. Andrea Meza hopes to encourage others to get vaccinated to keep their communities safe and healthy.” It was pointed out in the official Instagram of the contest.
