While 2020 wasn’t a particularly great year for our social lives, it was a mega year for celebrity baby announcements. And while a lot of famous faces who announced their pregnancies have now welcomed their little ones (hello Daisy Dove and Lyra Antarctica), there’s still a long list of stars who are due to give birth this year. So, without further ado, here are all the stars who have welcomed a baby in 2021 so far.
- Macauley Culkin and Brenda Song’s baby boy Dakota
Macualey Culkin and The Social Network star Brenda Song have welcomed their first child together, a son named Dakota Song Culkin. Dakota is named after Culkin’s late sister, who died in 2008 at the age of 29.
The couple confirmed the news in a statement to Esquire, saying, “We’re overjoyed,” adding that Dakota was born on the 5th April in Los Angeles.
- Peaky Blinders star Sophie Rundell’s son
Sophie announced her son’s birth on Instagram with a sweet selfie. She wrote, “Our little boy, who arrived safely and happily over the Easter weekend and changed the game forever. My little egg. My overflowing, grateful heart. 💛🐣”

- Henry Golding and Liv Golding’s daughter
Last Christmas star Henry Golding announced on Instagram that he and wife Liv Lo Golding welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday 31st March.
“This woman right here. Beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Your strength brought us our greatest joy. Thank you, I love you ♥️”.
In a separate post on Instagram Liv Lo said, “On March 31st our lives changed forever. Link in bio of leaving Instagram for #maternityleave (for the time being). I’ll prob be up during midnight breastfeeds checking in on you, but otherwise “I’ll be back” xx.”
- Jen Atkin and Mike Rosenthal’s son River
“Never say never! River Julién Rosenthal 7.10lbs. We are so in love with this little man. ♥️💫,” she wrote and asked friends to donate to the Baby2Baby charity which provides nappies and clothing to children under 12 living in poverty.
“🍼 we love you guys and are editing our Surrogate Journey video in btwn feedings. Stay tuned ♥️💫 (ps I told y’all I’m good at keeping secrets ),” Jen added.
- Professor Green and Karima McAdams’s son Slimane Ray
The rapper announced he and his partner had welcomed their first son together in March, detailing the ‘rollercoaster’ and ‘scare after scare’ they’ve had to go through. Real name Stephen Manderson, Pro Green explained, “I’ve always said ‘the only way to be on time is to be early’; it’s nice to see you taking after me already, though you seem to have inherited your Mum’s looks 😉
“Privately we’ve endured what so many parents-to-be have, your journey to us wasn’t a straight line whatsoever, it was a rollercoaster right up to your arrival. Having met you, I’m sorry. It wasn’t your fault and you’re totally forgiven. You’re far too perfect to be mad at.”
- Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner
The model and husband Josh welcomed their first child together in March. Joshua was first to share the news with a baby picture and added alongside it: “Welcome to the world.”
Karlie revealed her happy baby news on Instagram back in November.
- Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard’s baby Sylvester
She broke the news with an adorable post on Instagram alongside the caption, “Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side. Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful, and love-filled morning of my life.”
The model first confirmed her pregnancy with a cover shoot for Vogue in October 2020.

- Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith’s son August
Revealing his adorable name on social media alongside the first picture, she shared: “Gus is here 💙💙💙💙. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents.
“We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined. M + T.”
- Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara’s son Riley
Meghan Trainor and her husband, Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Riley. Announcing the news on Instagram along with a series of pictures, Trainor wrote:
“This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day💝 We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th! We are SO IN LOVE🥰😭 Thank you @darylsabara for the best Valentine’s gift ever! Welcome to the world Riley!”
- Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s son August
Princess Eugenie and husband Jack’s happy news was first announced by the official royal family account, with a post that read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital.”
They later revealed his name is August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
The pair first revealed the pregnancy in September 2020. “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021,” wrote the official royal account, while Eugenie posted, “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021.”
- Dani Dyer and Sammy Kimmence’s baby boy Santiago
“I honestly can’t believe it, he’s finally here, our little boy,” Dani said in a voice note on Sorted With The Dyers (via Metro.) I never thought I’d meet him. I felt like it was going on and on.
“But me and Sammy are so in love with him. He’s just so perfect and the feeling is just incredible, I can’t put into words how it feels. I know you’re all probably wondering what we’ve called him. There’s been a lot of assumptions going on, some are actually really funny to be fair, but his name is Santiago.
“I know a lot of you are probably thinking ‘What?!’ but that is his name but we are going to be calling him Santi. I think it sounds nice on the birth certificate.”

- Khadijah Haqq McCray and Bobby McCray’s daughter Kapri
They broke the news with an adorable post on Instagram alongside the caption, “We love you baby girl, you complete our family!When 5 becomes 6.”
The pair have been married since 2010 and already share Christian, 10 and Celine, 6, as well as 16-year old Bobby Louis McCray III who is Bobby’s son from a previous relationship.
In December Khadijah revealed on Instagram that the couple were planning to name the baby Kapri, although her name wasn’t officially confirmed in the most recent post.
- Jessica Szohr and Brad Richardson’s daughter Bowie
Bowie Ella is Jessica and boyfriend Brad’s first child together. The actress revealed she was pregnant on Instagram back in September 2020.
- Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund’s son Rhodes
“Thank you 2020 for getting one thing right ☀️” Emma wrote on Instagram. “Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund 🧡”
The couple confirmed they were expecting their first child together in September 2020.
- Kelly Rowland and Tim Weatherspoon’s son Noah Jon
“On the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st Century, Noah Jon Weatherspoon Greeted us! We are truly grateful❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Kelly captioned the adorable picture of Titan and the newborn.
Speaking to Women’s Health about her pregnancy last year, Kelly explained: “We had been talking about it loosely, and then Covid happened, and we were just like, ‘Let’s see what happens.'”
Kelly added that she got pregnant “right away,” much to her “surprise”.
- Ashley James and Tom Andrews’ son Alfie River
“I just wanted to let you all know that on Saturday 9th January we welcomed our son to the world. He’s a very healthy 9.5 pounds, and Snoop is already being the best big brother,” she wrote.
“I cannot wait to introduce him to you all properly, and share my journey with you, but for now we’re just getting to know him and focusing on keeping him safe in this crazy world. We’re both well and recovering. Massive thank you to our amazing team of midwives at Chelsea & Westminster for bringing him safely into the world. - Paloma Faith and Leyman Lahcine’s baby girl
“Well I’m not pregnant anymore! I had a planned c section yesterday I’m in a lot of pain and didn’t sleep last night but it’s worth it to see and meet the new little cherub I have in front of me,” she wrote. “It’s been about 30 hours and already I’m exhausted, sore and my nipples are on fire with a baby piranha that wants to kill me.”
She added, “This baby couldn’t be more loved or wanted if she tried (yes I have two gals).”
In September, Paloma announced she was pregnant following six rounds of IVF. “It is with extreme pleasure I announce I am pregnant,” she shared at the time. “I am going to be releasing new music at this time and wanted to feel free in my body as it changes before all our eyes!”
- Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech’s son River

Morgan and her hsband Michael Kopech are currently separated but came together to welcome their son into the world.

“Hi everyone. This is Rafe Ramsey. Born yesterday afternoon weighing 9lbs 1oz,” Rosie gushed alongside a picture of the little one.
“He’s absolutely wonderful and looks EXACTLY like his brother! like, it’s uncanny! He’s yet to meet Robin, so once we’re all settled back at home I’ll introduce him to you properly. Hope you’re all ok xx.”
- Theo Campbell’s son Aries
Love Island star Theo welcomed a son named Aries on February 7th. In a lengthy caption alongside a snap of him leaving the hospital with his little boy, Theo said it was refreshing to be able to keep the baby news under wraps for so long after living out the last four years in the public eye following his stint on Love Island.
- Amanda Pacheco and Wilmer Valderrama’s baby girl
Sharing a photo of the newborn from hospital, Wilmer wrote alongside it: “Life is an ever evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light.. often angels are sent to show us the way and that we can be more.. straight out of heaven we welcome our first daughter… #ItsJustUs3Now.”
- Sophie and Jamie Hinchcliffe
In December, Sophie Hinchcliffe – AKA Mrs Hinch – and husband Jamie Hinchcliffe revealed they were expecting their second child together. The influencer shared a picture of son Ronnie looking absolutely adorable as he held up a baby scan and sign that read ‘New Year’s resolution, be the best best brother’.
Meanwhile, Sophie wrote to fans: “It is often in the darkest skies that we see the brightest stars ✨ Baby Hinch Number 2, We can’t wait to finally meet you ❤️. Happy New Year everyone… from our little family to yours… We hope your 2021 is filled with hope, health and happiness. We love you all.”
