From a very young age Adele showed her interest in music and managed to become the most important female voice in British pop. The singer who, with four studio albums, sold more than 115 million copies worldwide turns 34. Thanks to her talent and her extensive musical career, she received many awards, shining at each gala with her looks.
The British finished her secondary studies in 2006 and that same year she signed a contract with XL Recordings , when she was discovered by a demo that one of her friends published on a social network. The following year she received the BRIT Award and won the BBC’s Sound of 2008 poll.
Only in 2008, the singer released her first album “19” and managed to get the podium of the British album chart. Her first single called “Chasing Pavements” won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards, and the following year she won Best New Artist.
Her second album “21” was a worldwide success, receiving numerous awards in 2011 and 2012. The songwriter achieved a record six Grammys in one night , becoming the second female artist in Grammy history, after Beyoncé, to win several awards at the same ceremony. That same year she received two Brit Awards, for British Female Solo Artist and British Album. The music video for “Rolling in the Deep” received three MTV Video Music Awards, in the categories of Best Art Direction, Best Editing in a Video and Best Cinematography.
In 2013, the composer won an Oscar for Best Original Song, with her theme “Skyfall” in the James Bond movie. That same year, the British received a Golden Globe, her ninth Grammy award, a Brit Award, among others.
In February of this year, the interpreter of “Easy On Me” received three awards at the Brit Awards for Best Song of the Year, Artist of the Year and British Album of the Year.
