All boxing fans are waiting for this evening that will put the finishing touch to 2020. In one of the most anticipated fights of the year, the Mexican Saúl Canelo Alvarez, considered one of the best fighters of the moment without weight limit, will fight against the undefeated British Callum Smith in San Antonio (Texas). A combat where the super middleweight title from World Boxing Association (WBA) and the belt of World Boxing Council (WBC).

With 53 victorias, 36 by knockout, a draw and a loss, Canelo Álvarez returns to the ring just over a year after his victory over Russian Sergey Kovalev. He has not fought since that evening in November 2019 where he prevailed with a shocking KO in the 11th round.

His rival this time will be Callum Smith, who is a native of Liverpool and they also have 30 years, who has won his 27 professional fights –19 knockout victories– and will expose the super middleweight title of the WITH that he obtained in 2018 and has already retained twice. The fight will be in the Alamodome of San Antonio, before some 12.000 aficionados, and a high voltage match is expected because the maturity and boxing quality of Canelo they collide with the undefeated record of their opponent, who has shown good punch in his presentations and, not least, takes him out 18 centimeters of height.

That gives me satisfaction because I have worked hard to be where I am; I must have an established tactic, observe what happens in the fight.
