A single super sports car from the United States has been able to triunfar in Le MansTherefore, Ford has decided to pay a heartfelt tribute to this feat by presenting the new Ford GT LM Edition 2022.
“With innovative materials, design and engineering, the Ford GT is unlike any other production supercar. As we close this chapter of the Ford GT road racer, the GT LM Edition gave us the opportunity to inject even more heart and soul of a race car that finished on the podium, furthering the tribute to our victory at Le Mans 2016.”said Mark Rushbrook, global director of Ford Performance Motorsports, through an official statement.
The delivery of this car will begin in the fall of this year while production will end at the end of 2022. Aesthetically, car features red or blue design accents with the particularity of including an exterior treatment of carbon fiber tinted in said colors (to choose), in addition to a driver’s seat in the corresponding color.

The same way, highlight unique 3D printed elements, including a bespoke alloy badge located on the instrument panel. Now, the particularity of this piece lies in being made with the 2016 Ford GT Le Mans engine crankshaft who ranked third in the competition.
