FC Barcelona has reached a historic and millionaire agreement for broadcasting rights. Different reports in the last hours indicate that the culé team gave up 15% of the rights for the transmission of their matches with the Sixth Street investment fund. The agreement would have been closed for the amount of 400 million euros over the next 25 years.

At the end of June, Barcelona had sold 10% of the transmission rights to the same investment fund for 207.5 million euros. With the new deal, the Blaugrana team has put more money into their coffers after spending on the signing of players like Robert Lewandowski .

In the midst of a restructuring process and with the arrival of new players to the squad, Barcelona is making its pre-season tour in the United States and next Saturday they will face Real Madrid at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The meeting could serve as the stage for Robert Lewandowski’s debut with the Catalans, but it will be until Saturday when he decides if he will have his first minutes in the Barca jacket.

FC Barcelona will return to Spain in a few days, because before the start of the 2022-23 LaLiga Season, they will have to face the Joan Gamper Trophy against Pumas at the Camp Nou. The duel against the Mexican team will take place on Sunday, August 7.
