When it became known that the Miami Beach residence of the Argentine Alan Faena it was for sale gave a lot to talk about. First for its cost and second for the luxury objects and furniture that decorate every corner of this incredible house.
Finally the real estate and hotel developer found the right buyer, who spent $ 13.3 million. In the beginning, however, the property had been appraised at 16.5 million dollars in November 2019. Then, the price dropped to 14.5 million in July and again to 12.8 million in September.
Currently Faena lives between Miami and New York, but as revealed in an interview with Infobae misses his affections residing in his hometown. “I spend a lot of time outside of Buenos Aires. My son Noah goes to school here (he means Miami) and your son marks you where you are. I live between Miami and New York. I go to Buenos Aires a lot and I miss my family, my friends, my loved ones… The people of Buenos Aires are very special and affectionate; Is unique in the world”, He expressed.
How is the mansion that Alan Faena sold in Miami Beach
Faena had acquired this property in 2014. True to your developer instinct, bought Villa Crono for $ 10.3 million and, according to his spokesperson, then he invested “a couple of million” to renew it. “It’s Alan Faena’s style,” he declared.

The furniture of the property Mediterranean style, however, they are not included in the sale. The decoration pieces, ranging from ceramic cheetahs and a 17th century crystal collection even fake animal tusks and elaborate gold candlesticks, either.
An art deco table and chairs, covered in Clarence House velvet, are the stars of the home dining room. The candelabrum is antique silver from George IV, and the staghorn candelabrum is from the early 20th century. At the entrance, a pair of concrete elephant statues, salvaged from a hotel in Atlantic City and later used in a public art project by Peter Tunney, stand guard next to a nearly 200-year-old Banyan tree and a colorful old gazebo imported from Bali in the house that the magnate designed with Diego Pereira Luchetta.
Master suite has ocean views from a private balcony, a custom dressing room designed by Faena himself that exhibits his collection of hats and a master bathroom with gilded fixtures and a Louis XV mirror.
In turn, the bed is Spanish colonial, the bedding and curtains are personalized by Faena and the decorative pillows are Mexican. The cocktail table is Regency style and the artwork is by Todd Eberle.
The exterior of the opulent villa features a motorcycle track, a patio, a swimming pool, a deep water dock and a series of sculptural paths that mark the way through the gardens. There is also a guest house with a living room, full kitchen and dining room.
The “Alan Faena” style
“I come from the world of creation and everything I have is the work of my own creation.” Today, his last name is synonymous with luxury, good taste, glamor and style, and his Miami Beach mansion undoubtedly reflects his avant-garde spirit.
Alan has the hotel in Miami that bears his surname: the Faena Miami Beach, located on the famous Collins Avenue, cerca de Lincoln Road. There the Argentine businessman he usually brings together numerous celebrities for ultra vip parties.
In 2019 among his guests were Lenny Kravitz, Sean Penn, Michelle Salas (Luis Miguel’s daughter) and Paris Hilton. That year a fabulous dinner was held at the hotel as part of the second edition of the Faena Festival: The Last Supper.
That dinner explored spirituality and culinary traditions, abundance and sacrifice, indulgence and abstinence through installations, videos, performances, historical works and new commissions that occupy various spaces in the Faena district.
