Logan Paul, the fighter, influencer and great collector of material that we could define as “nerd” (our subject, ed), has decided to attend the last appointment in the ring of WrestleMania yesterday, April 2, wearing one of his precious collector’s items, like a kind of amulet, well preserved in a protective container hung around his neck like an amulet.
It is a Pokémon card worth 3.8 million US dollars, one of Logan Paul’s favorite pieces
One PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator was bought by the wrestler in Dubai last June 2021, setting the record for the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold to a private individual for which the athlete paid out a whopping $ 5,275,000.
Of course owning it wasn’t enough for Logan Paul who, it must be admitted, is in his own way decidedly exhibitionist at times (free to do so, ed).
So here is the decision to enter the ring of the very popular sporting event on the occasion of his debut in the WWE on the occasion of WrestleMania 38 at T&T Stadium of Arlington, Texas, USA.
The fighter with his amulet entered the stadium flanked by his partner, The Miz with whom he had already collaborated in the match against Rey Mysterio. Before the event he had also posted a picture of his in very flashy clothes, with the card in plain sight on his bare chest.
Some people liked his look a lot, to the point that some have defined him as the possible head of a gym in the Pokémon universe. To get the card, Logan Paul swapped a PSA Grade 9 Pikachu card worth $ 1,275,000 that he previously bought from the collector Matt Allen, who resides in Italy, in Como.
Logan Paul said to Guinness World Records that “Pikachu Illustrator is one of the rarest and most coveted cards in the Pokémon world. Only 39 were awarded to winners of an illustrator contest in 1998, and this one here is the only one in the world that has been rated perfect, with a ’10 ′”.
When asked what it feels like to break such a record, he replied that he tried to do it for “lifetime. I applied to achieve a lot of records and on balance I got one right after my first win (in WWE). I go back to my locker room and I get a second victory straight away”.
