An industry analyst has announced in a video on Youtube that he knows about allegedly spicy details about the development of GTA 6. So he talks about a possible release period, the development phase and the map, which should be composed of several locations.
The next-gen versions of GTA 5 for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will be released this month, which some are more and others less happy about. What comes after that has been a topic in the rumor mill for years and was finally officially confirmed by Rockstar Games at the beginning of last February: the development of GTA 6. Rockstar Games said at the time that the work for the next part of Grand Theft -Auto series are in full swing.
GTA 6: Map with known places including Europe?
About a month later, industry expert Michael Pachter intervened, who has interesting things to say about GTA 6 in a short video that was uploaded to YouTube on March 7th. It begins with the fact that GTA 6 has been in the works since 2014, a year after the release of GTA 5. This year Rockstar took care of the story until 2015 when programming began. Michael Pachter goes on to say that the development would take ten years or longer, which could mean a release in 2024 at the earliest, if you take the whole thing a little further.
But why is the development of GTA 6 taking so long? Here, too, the industry analyst has a guess. Because the game should combine the three well-known locations of the classic 3D titles. This means that players should be able to visit Liberty City (from GTA 3, later GTA 4), Vice City (GTA Vice City) and San Andreas (GTA San Andreas, partially GTA 5) in GTA 6. But that’s not all, because Michael Pachter also mentions Europe, especially London. Missions are said to be spread across all of these locations and so it could happen that you have to smuggle drugs from London to Los Angeles (San Andreas) and pass through the port of Miami (Vice City).
