So on her 40th birthday on January 9, when Kate Middleton received congratulations from young and old, she chose to directly thank Mila Sneddon, a six-year-old girl she met on the project Hold Still in 2020 and with whom she has met a couple of times.
Lynda, Mila’s mother, uploaded a video to Twitter of the little girl congratulating Kate. “Happy birthday Catherine! I am very happy that you are turning 40, that you receive many gifts and spend time with your family. Bye. With much love, Mila”.

“Better late than never and from home to isolate ourselves from the hospital. Wishing the Duchess of Cambridge a very happy 40th birthday, from her number one fan! With much love,” wrote Mila’s mother, who is currently receiving therapy to treat her leukemia.

Mila and Kate met via Zoom in 2020. Kate promised her that the day they met, she would wear a pink dress. The Duchess complied with what was said and, when they met in Edinburgh last May, she wore a bubblegum-colored dress from the brand Me+Em. For her part, Mila wore a small tiara and a tulle dress.
