The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update 1.11.0 is now available for download. On its website, Nintendo names the patch notes – and thus the changes and innovations.
However, the update does not contain any surprises. As the developers announce, the seasonal events have been updated. As already announced, fireworks take place every Sunday in August. At Nook Shopping you will discover new seasonal items. The patch is rounded off with unspecified optimizations to improve the gaming experience.
Original message: A new update is coming for Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Nintendo heralds the summer in the Switch adventure. As the Mario Group announced on Twitter, the patch will be available for download from July 29th – so tomorrow.
The time at which the new update will be activated has not yet been determined. However, it is possible that the developers will stick to the previous release times and therefore release the new update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons as a download in the early morning hours.
The specific patch notes with all changes and innovations are not yet available – and should not be submitted until tomorrow, Thursday. One thing is certain: with the update, new seasonal items and weekly fireworks will be added to the Switch adventure. Players who have been on their island for a long time already know the fireworks event.
If Nintendo does not change the process, the fireworks will always take place on Sundays in August. You can even submit your own designs and design the look of the fireworks according to your taste. You can also take part in Rainer’s raffle to win additional items.
Nintendo has not yet mentioned what is hidden behind the new seasonal items. Tomorrow at the latest we will know more when the new patch for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for download. The reactions of the fans show, however, that this is by no means the update they were hoping for.
However, Nintendo promises that there will be more free content in development for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which will be released later this year. The company did not provide any tangible details.
