Just recently, Ubisoft released an extensive update for the action adventure Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which included the Eastre Festival with special story content, in-game events and decorative items.

However, the latter caused some problems and in the worst case even led to crashes. The developers reacted quickly and removed some parts of the update without further ado, but there has not yet been a permanent solution. That will change shortly.

As the development team announced via Twitter, the update 1.2.0.1 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on today March 26, 2021 – Friday.

According to current plans, the patch should be available for download around 1:00 p.m. German time. Official patch notes are not yet known, but at least Ubisoft has already given some hints about what to expect as part of the update.

The patch to version 1.2.0.1 mainly takes care of the problem in connection with the Easter event and the resulting crashes. At the same time, all quests in which you can unlock the new decorative items should be available again after installing the update. These are currently deactivated.

By the way, Ubisoft has already made provisions for April: According to current plans, the DLC “Wrath of the Druid” for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on April 29th.

As part of the download expansion, which by the way is part of the Season Pass, you will end up in Ireland, where you have to uncover the secrets of an ancient and mysterious druid cult and track down its members.
