Around the 4:45 p.m. this Thursday an accident has occurred in Madrid in which they have been involved a large truck and seven passenger cars. The mishap has left at least ten minor injuries, of which eight have been transferred to different hospitals in the Spanish capital.
The events took place at the Plaza de Conde de Casal at the entrance to the city on the A3. Although the causes are still being investigated by the Municipal Police, the truck rammed several vehicles, that have been colliding with each other.
Complex Incident Protocol
As indicated by the social networks of the Madrid emergency services, both Samur-Civil Protection and SUMMA 112 attended to the wounded, all of mild prognosis. Meanwhile, the Firefighters were in charge of secure vehicles and clean up a railing that was torn off due to the spectacular setback.
To coordinate the different teams transferred to the scene, The Municipal Police have activated the so-called Complex Incident Protocol (PIC) of the Madrid City Council. Likewise, the agents They have been in charge of preparing the corresponding attestation.
Large withholdings
Access by the A3 has been badly affected as a result of the accident. For this reason, there have been large traffic jams since the emergency services have been working with the aim of clearing the area as soon as possible.
