Call of Duty: Warzone

A potential new Call of Duty: Warzone hack can give cheaters control over when the game ends for everyone. In a match recorded by the streamer BisaG10, the game suddenly ends for the entire lobby, although 19 players are still alive.

Even stranger, the end state is triggered when players are forced to see a “Final Kill” highlight that normally doesn’t exist in Warzone, only in normal multiplayer when a game reaches its normal ending.

Bug/Hack

There is certainly a possibility that this “hack” was just a bug, but it wouldn’t be surprising if hackers found a new way to manipulate the free-to-play battle royale.

It is suspicious that the game was suddenly interrupted when Bisa’s team eliminated a group that was clearly made up of cheaters. If the cheaters reacted to losing to Bisa despite their hacked advantage, it is possible that the sudden end of the game was the last trick up their sleeve.

Early termination

“So far, I’ve only been able to find one other case where this happened,” Luke Frost explained on Twitter. As the Twitter user announced in a response to the Bisa clip, you can see the same kind of sudden end even though there are still over 60 players alive.

For a long time, the players in Warzone have had to fight with cheaters, but this cheat is something that hardly anyone has apparently been confronted with. The ability to end a running match at will would be a nasty advancement of a cheating standard that until now consisted of typical FPS hacks like aimots and wallhacks. Although Raven Software recently launched a ban wave, cheaters are still a frequent occurrence in Warzone.
