The New York City premiere of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City gave the stars a chance to hand out some fresh red carpet looks. Among the stylish standouts was Scarlett Johansson in an incredible Carolina Herrera gown.
The list of the most elegant at the event was completed by Margot Robbie in a sculpted mini dress by Schiaparelli and Maya Hawke in a sparkling Prada creation.
Scarlett Johansson’s all-white look, drawn from fashion house Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2024 collection, fell somewhere in between the realms of bridal fashion and summer vacation closet.
It included a body-hugging gathered bodice, supported by slender straps, that extended to an extremely dropped waist before flaring out into an ankle-length gathered skirt.
For footwear, the actress opted for shiny steel-toed pumps. She also complemented with dangling pearl and diamond earrings and a variety of gold and gemstone rings.
Johansson had already pulled out all the stops for her red carpet look at the world premiere of Asteroid City at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
Dresses
At the time, the movie star hit the famously carpeted steps in a pale pink tube dress, custom-made by Prada. The dazzling gown made an elegant nod to this season’s lingerie trend by including a bright white triangle bra that juts out over the bust of the dress.
At Cannes Johansson complemented the look minimally, wearing only a few rings and dangling diamond star-shaped earrings by David Yurman.
The actress switched to a second Prada look for the after-party, where she wore a greenish-yellow satin mini-dress with white heeled sandals and a metallic clutch.
