The End of a Trilogy Full of Adventures, Lessons, and Everlasting Friendship
The Guardians of the Galaxy saga has made one thing clear, and that is that good friendships never break, they are eternal. This last installment closes this trilogy, but you know that where a door closes, a window opens? Who would have told us nine years ago that the group of Peter Quill and company would endure almost a decade and face the most vile villain to date, Thanos.
The Galactic Seven have never generated much buzz, but perhaps it’s that spirit of togetherness that reminds us of our oldest friendships. Those that over the years we have been losing little by little, because of getting older or not caring about each other. Where once there was a group of fifteen people, now there are six or less. Not everyone stays in your life and cares about you.
But the Guardians have been able to show the world that despite arguments, insults, pushing and shoving, fights and quarrels, their friendship is above all else. The key to this galactic strength lies in James Gunn, the director of the trilogy, who has been able to define this group that no one trusted in the beginning.
Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3: A Perfect Closing Touch to a Marvelous Franchise
Throughout two and a half hours, nostalgia accompanied by a perfect soundtrack with vibes from the 80s, 90s and 00s envelop a film worthy of admiration. The three films have shown, along with a powerful friendship, the evolution of the musical genre, from I Want You Back (1969) to Do You Realize? (2002).
Guardians brings to a close a trilogy full of adventures, galaxies explored and many lessons taught. This volume 3 is the crowning touch to nine brilliant years. We will have to be attentive to the future of the franchise to see what happens with them, in Marvel you can never give for ‘dead’ a character. His background and sense of humor is one of the best of the House of Ideas.
A success that has been seen in the three installments and, above all, in this vol. 3 is the cast on screen, despite the fact that in each installment one of the members is prioritized. Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 avoids a slight mistake made by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is to mix all the secondary characters and not know who the real protagonist is.
In this installment the seven co-protagonists have their importance even if they are accompanied by the secondary ones. A detail that can not be ignored and that everyone wonders before seeing a new Marvel release is what to see before this film. If you enjoy the two previous films and the Christmas special, you will understand everything (script and small winks).
By the way, about the post-credits scenes, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 has two sequels. We won’t make any spoilers, but this time everyone will have to bring out the critic in you and evaluate them. Although remember, where a door closes? A classic at Marvel Studios.
